My name is Daniela and I was born and raised in Mainz, Germany. My parents and grandparents lived through the horrors of World War II. Their stories still run through my mind and I have learned to appreciate freedom, peace, and to be thankful for the small, beautiful things in life.
Music has always been an important part of my life. I grew up with music, studied the piano at the conservatory, sang in a professional choir, and played the viola.

I moved to the United States after high school to study piano performance and eventually became a piano instructor.
I was forced to work many and long hours just to make a decent living, which left little time to pursue any passions or dreams.
My life changed in April of 2004 after meeting a number of entrepreneurs.

I learned that I could do anything I set my mind to. With diligence and persistence, I could surpass my own limitations and join those who have made this country the land of opportunities.
